The home is less than 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and approximately 9 miles from the Interstate 77 Exit for Fancy Gap. Come to the Mountains to ride along the parkway, drift down the New River by canoe or float. Trout fish at the Crooked Creek Fee Fishing Area or bicycle down the New River Trail or Parkway. Visit the Blue Ridge Music Center and listen to Blue Grass. Drive to Mt. Airy, NC and enjoy Mayberry and the home place of Andy Griffith.

The master bedroom is on the main level and the loft bedroom is accessible via an indoor ladder. We recommend no more than four guests but a fifth guest may sleep on the couch if desired. We provide cookware, crockpot, Keurig coffee maker, linens, towels, and cookware. Enjoy the four-person HOT TUB, cute loft, and gas-log fireplace. The Blue Ridge Parkway is easily accessible and the New River Trail is in nearby Galax. There are plenty of other hiking trails around and river sports are nearby.

Visitors at Sunrise Cabin enjoy outstanding views from the front porch and warm, cozy evenings beside the stone fireplace. Sunrise cabin provides visitors with unique opportunity to enjoy the natural features of the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests while still having many of the conveniences of home.

The cabin was constructed in 1980 and offers many modern amenities such as electricity, kitchen appliances and showers. The property was acquired in an effort to help preserve the land around the beloved Virginia Highlands Horse Trail in southwest Virginia.

You will be totally enchanted by this unique cottage! The open living space has a queen size Murphy bed that sleeps two comfortably. There is also a queen size air mattress for extra guests. The large bath has a wet room style shower with a beautiful claw foot tub. There is a large wood-burning fireplace for those cool fall and winter nights. In the summer enjoy the outdoor shower. The gardens are filled with wildflowers, peonies, and hydrangeas. There is a 4 tiered water garden complete with koi to soothe you as you sit on the large front porch. The Enchanted Cottage is located in close to Floyd, the Blue Ridge Parkway, New River State Park, and all that Southwest Virginia has to offer.
